The Second Vatican Council made it clear that the Church was first and foremost a portion of the people of God, who are served by deacons, priests and bishops both as worshiping people and as a community.

Acting as a voice of the community our parish has the following groups assist the pastor in making the best decisions for the parish and school.

Parish Council

The Parish Council is a consultative body to the pastor. Its purpose is to form community as a sign and witness of unity for the larger parish community; provide recommendations for parish directions, priorities, and policies through pastoral planning; and promote communication and understanding among parish organizations and between the parish, Archdiocese, and the Universal Church.

Finance Council

The Finance Council advises the pastor on all financial matters, develops the annual budget and monitors the financial status of the parish on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.

Facilities Steering Committee

This committee works with architects and contractors and makes final recommendations to the Parish Council regarding the facilities master plan and specific projects within that plan.

Building and Grounds Committee

This committee works with the pastoral assistant for administration to ensure that the grounds are maintained and to make recommendations about major repairs and capital improvements.
