Born in Tacoma, Deacon Kyle Mangloña is a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Seattle. After graduating from high school, he entered the college seminary at Gonzaga University where he earned undergraduate degrees in philosophy and history. Currently, he lives and studies at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, where he was present in St. Peter’s Square the evening of Pope Francis’ election. His favorite saint is Ignatius of Loyola and his favorite spiritual writer is Thomas Merton. He enjoys playing the piano, watching the Mariners, and posting on Instagram. This summer he is stationed at St. Charles Borromeo in Tacoma, WA.
