This time of year, gallons of paint are being purchased for homeowner's summer projects. Continuing a tradition, St. Charles Borromeo Parish is partnering up with Associated Ministries for the annual Paint Tacoma-Pierce Beautiful to help paint the exterior of the home of a local neighborhood family in a fun and rewarding ministry.

July 13 will be a day of pressure washing and preparing the house for painting.

July 20 will be a day of priming and final preparation.

July 27 will be the main day of painting as well as additional gardening work. Work begins at 9 a.m. at the location provided by Kim Seevers upon signup.

Volunteers are welcome for any or all of the days and are needed for additional responsibilities as well. These include donating sandwiches, cold beverages and cookies to the painting crew, cleaning paint brushes and rollers, coordinating weeding and cleaning out of flower beds and yard.
